Security and privacy
Your trading account, yours alone.
Djinnex Desk works in your browser, with nothing to install, and doesn’t need access to your trading account. We keep what’s needed for your subscription.
Our commitment
Your money stays with your broker.
Djinnex Desk doesn’t need access to your trading account or your broker password, and we won’t ask you for it.
We don’t see your balance or your trades, and we can’t trade for you.
If anyone asks for your broker password on behalf of Quontis Technologies or Djinnex Desk, it isn’t us. Don’t give it to them, and write to us.
Your data
What we keep and what we don’t.
To sign you up, we need your name, your email address, a password, your card (its details are handled by our payment provider, an entity authorised to provide payment services) and your billing details. We also keep a record of which boxes you ticked and the date, time and IP address of each login. Here are the main points; the full list, which explains what we use each piece of data for, on what legal basis and for how long we keep it, is in the privacy information.
| Information | Do we keep it? | What for |
|---|---|---|
| Your full name and email address | Yes | For your account and to let you know about anything that affects your subscription. |
| Your account password | Yes, stored in a form that can’t be reversed: nobody can read it, not even us | So that only you can get into your dashboard. |
| The date, time and IP address of each login to your account | Yes, for 6 months | To protect your account and detect logins that aren’t yours. |
| Whatever you choose to tell us on the trial form (experience, what you trade with, assets you’re interested in) | Yes, if you give it to us | To find out what subscribers are most interested in and to improve the explanations on the website. It doesn’t change the analysis, which is the same for everyone. |
| The status of your trial or subscription and whether you have the founder price | Yes | To know how long your access lasts and which amount applies to you. |
| Your card details | Handled by our payment provider, an entity authorised to provide payment services: we never see the full number | When you start the trial, to check that it’s valid and to make sure each person gets only one trial; you aren’t charged anything during the trial. When the trial ends, to charge you for your subscription. |
| Your billing details: your country, your address and, if you subscribe as a business or a self-employed person, your tax identification number or your EU VAT number | Yes | To issue an invoice for each charge and apply your country’s tax, as required by law. |
| Your broker password | No. We don’t ask you for it | — |
| Your balance, your trades and your results | No. We don’t ask you for them or connect to your account | — |
| Access to your trading account | No | — |
The reports
The same for every subscriber.
The analysis for each session is the same for every subscriber: the same thermometer, the same key zones, the same scenarios. It isn’t based on your data or your trades.
That has two advantages: we don’t need to know anything about your trading to produce the analysis, and everyone who reads it speaks the same language.
Three good habits
For peace of mind when you trade.
-
Keep your broker password to yourself. Don’t share it with any analysis service, not even ours.
-
Turn on two-step verification with your broker and your email provider, if they offer it.
-
Be wary of promises. No one can guarantee you results in the market. If someone does, be careful.
This website
No advertising or analytics cookies.
This website doesn’t use cookies, either first-party or third-party, or any analytics tools, and it doesn’t load anything from external sources. The only things it stores in your browser are the theme you choose with the button in the header, light or dark, and the language you choose with the “ES | EN” selector. Those choices don’t leave your browser, and you can delete them in your browser settings. When we open sign-ups, there will still be no advertising or analytics cookies. It will add only two technical items, which the law allows without asking for your consent (Article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002): a single cookie of our own, which protects the forms in your private area, keeps you logged in and is deleted when you log out or close your browser; and, only at the payment step, our payment provider’s cookies, which are essential for taking payment and preventing fraud. Apart from that step, it won’t load anything from external sources either: images and fonts are served from this website. As with any website, the server records the IP address, the date and the page of each visit, in order to serve the website and protect it. We explain this in the cookie policy and in the privacy information.
