Principles

What we stand for in every session.

Eight principles that explain what we build, how we deliver it and what you can expect from our analysis, every session day.

The principles

Eight ideas that don’t change.

  1. The decision is yours. So is your broker

You decide. Djinnex Desk analyses, explains and remembers. It gives you the context, the key zones and the scenarios so you can decide using your own judgement. When to get in, where to put your stop and what size to trade are always up to you. Independent. Your broker, your rules. Quontis Technologies produces and publishes market analysis. We don’t work with any futures or CFD broker. No agreements, no commissions and no affiliate links: we’ll never ask you to open an account with any of them. You trade with the broker you choose, under your control. Our only income will be subscriptions: nobody pays us for what the analysis says. Our founder trades personally: we explain this under “Conflicts of interest”, in the risk warning.

  2. Capital first, then the process, and the idea last

Without capital there’s nothing to improve, so protecting it comes first. Then comes the process: preparing the session, trading with a plan and reviewing what happened. The trading idea comes last. That’s why every report also says what to be careful about, and every expectation comes with what would cancel it.

  3. Clarity without losing quality

The essentials first, in a few lines: what the analysis expects for each asset, the key zones and what’s worth watching. The full detail is a click away, for anyone who wants it. The quality of the analysis isn’t cut back: it’s organised.

  4. Explaining the why

Every point comes with the reason for it, in plain language. We want you to understand the analysis, not just follow it. That way, every session teaches you something.

  5. Key zones in full view

In Djinnex Desk, the key zones come from our own method. They’re the same for every subscriber, and you can see them drawn on the chart in each publication, at those same prices.

  6. Memory

Every session is recorded and feeds into the next ones; for example, to spot when good news is being read as bad. Those who forget are bound to repeat. Every session since you signed up stays in your dashboard: its publications and the changes to the thermometer.

  7. Transparency in our work

Every expectation comes with the reason for it and with what would cancel it, and every revision of the thermometer is recorded, including when the analysis changes its mind. We show you the work, not the recipe: how Djinnex Desk is built is our craft.

  8. Analysis, not signals

We give you everything you need to decide: context, key zones, scenarios with their conditions and what the analysis expects for each asset. The decision is always yours. We explain this below.

Analysis, not signals

Why the thermometer isn’t a signal.

The thermometer sums up in one word what the analysis expects for the session in each asset: “Bullish”, “Sideways” or “Bearish”, with its confidence. It helps you get your bearings at a glance before the open. But it isn’t a signal, and the difference matters.

“Bullish” doesn’t mean “buy”. It means the analysis expects a bullish session as long as a condition holds, for specific reasons that it explains to you, and that it will stop expecting it if something happens that it also tells you about. It’s an expectation, not a certainty. Djinnex Desk sets it in the pre-open report and can only revise it in the second look, if it sees fit; every revision is recorded with the reason for it.

  1. Before the openSet
  2. Second lookCan be revised
  3. The rest of the sessionDoesn’t change
A signalThe Djinnex Desk thermometer
What it tells you“Buy here” or “sell here”.What the analysis expects for the session: bullish, sideways or bearish, with its confidence and its condition.
WhyUsually, it doesn’t explain why.It comes with the reasoning, in plain language.
When it no longer holdsIt rarely says.It comes with what would cancel it.
If it changesAnother signal appears.Only in the second look, with the reason for it.
When to get in, stop and sizeIt usually hands them to you ready-made.It doesn’t include them: those decisions are yours.
What it leaves you withAn order to follow.A basis for deciding with your plan and your rules.

Gold

Illustrative example

What the analysis expects for today

As long as
it stays between zones A and B.
Why
with an inflation release ahead, gold isn’t expected to pick a direction before it’s out.
Would cancel it
the price holding above zone B (a bullish session would then be expected) or below zone A (bearish).

To be reviewed in the second look

Illustrative example written for this website. Made-up data; the key zones are labelled with letters. It’s not a real analysis or a screenshot of the product.

It’s an expectation from the analysis. It isn’t a certainty, a buy or sell order, or a personalised recommendation.

See for yourself

The work, in full view.

We’d rather you judged for yourself. During the 14-day free trial you see all of Djinnex Desk: every session, including when the analysis gets it wrong. Then €69 a month at the founder price, taxes included.

Each trader’s outcome depends on how they trade, and past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results.
