What it is and who it’s for
Djinnex Desk, in a nutshell.
What is Djinnex Desk?
A subscription-based intraday analysis service for the Asia, London and New York sessions, each with its own markets. Djinnex Desk, our own analysis system, prepares each session and publishes it in your dashboard at its key moments: before the open and, once the session is under way, with the second look. You read it, check it against your chart and decide.
Which markets does it analyse in each session?
- Asia: the Nikkei 225, gold, silver and Bitcoin.
- London, in the morning: the DAX, the FTSE 100, gold, silver, Brent crude, EUR/USD and GBP/USD.
- New York, in the afternoon: the Dow Jones, the Nasdaq 100, the S&P 500, gold, silver, WTI crude, Bitcoin and USD/CAD.
Gold and silver are in all three sessions, and Bitcoin in Asia and New York. All three sessions come in the same subscription: each one covers only its own markets, so it can go into detail.
Who is it for?
For retail traders who trade indices, currencies, gold, silver, oil (WTI or Brent) or Bitcoin, with CFDs or futures. If you’re starting out, you learn to read the market; if you’re already experienced, you save time and gain a second opinion.
Why gold, silver, WTI, Brent and Bitcoin?
Because they move for their own reasons, different from those behind indices and currencies. Gold and silver are in all three sessions: both are precious metals, influenced by the dollar, bond yields and geopolitical shocks; silver is also an industrial metal and tends to move more than gold. Oil comes in two versions: Brent in London and WTI in New York (the next question explains why). Bitcoin, in Asia and New York, is a highly volatile crypto-asset: in the New York session, it is influenced by US spot Bitcoin ETF flows, risk appetite (Bitcoin often moves in the same direction as the Nasdaq 100, though not always), macro data and the Federal Reserve.
Why WTI in New York and Brent in London?
They are the two main oil benchmarks, and each is analysed in the session of its own market. Brent, the North Sea crude, is the international benchmark and its futures trade in London: that’s why it’s in the London session. WTI is the US benchmark crude and its futures trade in New York: that’s why it’s in the New York session, where weekly US inventories also matter (the EIA report, on Wednesdays). They tend to move in the same direction, but they don’t trade at the same price: Brent is generally a few dollars above WTI. At your broker, Brent is usually called UKOIL or XBRUSD, and WTI, USOIL or XTIUSD.
What trading style is it designed for?
Djinnex Desk is designed for intraday trading and medium-duration scalping within each session: trades that last from minutes to hours and are closed the same day. It isn’t for swing trading (positions held for several days) or high-frequency scalping (trades lasting seconds).
I’ve only been trading for a few months. Will I understand it?
That’s what it’s designed for. The essentials come in a few lines and in plain language, and every point comes with its reasoning. Each asset opens with a sentence that sums up its day, trading terms show their explanation when you tap them, and there’s a guide to reading the report. Almost all the terms are in the glossary.
I trade CFDs or futures. Will it work for me?
Yes. The prices in the analysis are those of a quote we use as a reference for each asset (what we call the “reference market” on this website): they are not exchange prices or futures market prices. Your CFD will most likely be priced slightly differently, and a futures contract may show another price, sometimes quite a different one: go by the key zones and where the price is relative to them, not by the exact figure.
How is it different from a signals channel?
A signal tells you what to do. Djinnex Desk explains what’s happening and why, and the decision is yours.
Who does the analysis?
Djinnex Desk, our own analysis system, built on artificial intelligence, which works like the analyst-strategist on an intraday trading desk. Each report is prepared by the system: there’s no team of analysts behind it. The person responsible for the analysis is the founder of Quontis Technologies, whose name and position appear in every publication.
What doesn’t Djinnex Desk do?
It doesn’t give orders, stops or position sizes. It doesn’t trade or connect to your account. It doesn’t promise results and it isn’t personalised investment advice: it analyses the market, not your circumstances.
How it works day to day
Every session, in your dashboard.
What do I get each session day?
The publications for each session, in your dashboard. Two for each one: before the open, with the thermometer for each asset, and the second look, once the session is under way.
When do I need to be online?
It depends on the session you trade. In Spain, the Asia session falls in the early hours, London in the morning and New York in the afternoon. In all three, the pre-open report is in your dashboard before the open, and the second look arrives once the session is under way. The time of each publication is given in Madrid time.
Do I need to install anything or set up my platform?
No. Everything is on the website: you log in to your private area from your browser.
Can I follow it on my phone?
Yes. The dashboard works in the browser on your computer, tablet and phone. The essentials are designed to be read at a glance, even on a small screen.
Are there publications at weekends and on public holidays?
Djinnex Desk publishes its analysis on session days: there are no sessions at weekends. On days when a session’s market is closed for a public holiday, there are no publications for that session either. The Asia session is the exception: if it’s a public holiday in Tokyo, we still publish, without the Nikkei 225. If the session is a half day, there may be fewer publications; if so, we let you know in your dashboard. The price is the same every month, whether it has more or fewer session days.
And Bitcoin outside the sessions or at the weekend?
Bitcoin trades every day, around the clock, but Djinnex Desk only publishes on session days: there are no publications at the weekend. Whatever Bitcoin does outside the sessions, on weekdays or at the weekend, is covered in the context of the next publication. Bear in mind that it can move sharply while there are no publications.
What if I don’t trade one day?
If it wasn’t the day for it, it’s a good day. Knowing when not to trade is part of the craft too.
Key zones and thermometer
What the analysis expects and where it comes from.
It’s my first time. How do I read a report?
At the very top, the context of the day: what’s moving the market today and the high-risk hours. Then, for each asset, start with “In one sentence”: what’s expected, the key zone it depends on, with its prices, and what would cancel the idea. Next, the thermometer and its confidence, and the three boxes showing what the analysis is watching. And, on the chart, five things: where the price is, the zone that decides, the main scenario, the alternative one and what cancels the idea. Trading terms come with an explanation: tap them or hover over them.
What is the thermometer?
What Djinnex Desk’s analysis expects for each asset in the session: “Bullish”, “Sideways” or “Bearish”, with its confidence (high, medium or low), the condition that supports it, why it’s expected and what would cancel it. It’s an expectation from the analysis, not a certainty, not an order to buy or sell and not a personalised recommendation.
What does confidence mean?
It tells you how much the reasons in favour weigh against the day’s risks. It isn’t a probability or a hit rate: low confidence calls for more patience and closer attention to what would cancel the idea.
Can it change during the session? Will it alert me?
It’s set in the pre-open report and can only be revised in the second look, for the rest of the session and with the reason for it, which you see in your dashboard. After that it doesn’t change, so that the noise doesn’t knock you off your plan. It isn’t a real-time alert: what would cancel it is written down so you can watch for it on your chart.
If it says “Bullish”, do I have to buy?
The decision is yours. “Bullish” means the analysis expects a bullish session as long as the condition supporting it holds, which is why it always comes with what would cancel it. Whether you enter, when, and with what stop is for you to decide, by your own rules.
Where do the key zones come from?
From our own method. Each one has its price band. They’re the same for every subscriber, and you can see them drawn on the chart in each publication, at those same prices.
Why zones and not exact prices?
Because the price almost never turns at an exact figure. A key zone is a price band: the price can react anywhere in the zone, not at one exact price. A few points either way don’t change the reading. Also, your platform’s prices will most likely be a few points off the reference market (sometimes quite a lot more), and some candles or wicks may not match exactly. What counts is the zone.
What does the chart in each publication show?
The 5-minute candlestick chart of each asset’s session: what the price has done up to the publication and where it is at the time of publishing, the key zones, with their letter and price band, and the “if it breaks” and “if it doesn’t break” scenarios as dashed lines. It’s shown small; tap or click it to open it full size. These are candles from the reference market: your platform’s prices will most likely be a few points off (sometimes quite a lot more), and some candles or wicks may not match exactly. It’s an indicative sketch, not an order.
What happens when the analysis is wrong?
It happens, as with any analysis: the thermometer is an expectation, not a certainty. That’s why every expectation spells out what would cancel it and, in the second look, the analysis can revise it for the rest of the session, with the reason for it. Every session since you signed up stays in your dashboard: its publications and the changes to the thermometer.
Quontis Global Regime
Where we are and why it rarely changes.
What is Quontis Global Regime?
A free, public indicator, so you can see at a glance which global economic regime we’re in. You see the regime and its one-line description, when we entered it and the date of the last review, its strength, the state of its four pillars (growth, inflation, monetary policy and liquidity, and risk appetite) and a strip with the regimes of recent years. It describes the present: it doesn’t predict, it doesn’t give signals and it doesn’t tell you what to do. It’s general information, not investment advice.
Which regimes can it show?
Five, always the same ones. Expansion: strong or moderate growth, contained inflation. Overheating: strong or moderate growth, rising inflation. Stagflation: weak or moderate growth, high inflation. Slowdown: weak growth, falling inflation. And Transition, only when several pillars turn at once and there’s no confirmed regime.
Why does it change so rarely?
Because it only moves on what’s essential. A macro data release, a news story or a bad day in the market doesn’t change it. If it changes, it’s because the global regime really has changed.
How often is it reviewed?
It’s reviewed once a week. A change of regime is only accepted once it’s confirmed in consecutive reviews. In the meantime, the strength tells you where things stand: “Established”, if no pillar is turning, or “On watch”, if one or more pillars are starting to turn but the turn isn’t confirmed. The date of the last review is always in view.
Is the regime I see today the real one?
Not yet. What you see on the page today is an illustrative example: the real indicator will be published at launch. In the example, the dates and periods aren’t real.
Free, for everyone
What you can use without subscribing.
What’s free and what’s paid?
Free, for everyone: Quontis Global Regime, the Calendar and Learn. With a subscription you get Djinnex Desk, the full preparation for each session: the thermometer for each market, the key zones, the scenarios and what the analysis is watching.
What is the Calendar?
A free page with what’s coming up: macro data from the US, Canada, the euro area, Germany, the United Kingdom, China, Japan and Australia, and company earnings, in your local time and with their impact on the markets of the Asia, London and New York sessions. It won’t be updated until sign-ups open.
What is Learn?
A free page for anyone who has been in the market for a few months or a few years: how to go from trading on impulse to trading with a plan, how to read a report, step by step, and the glossary, with trading terms in plain language.
Price
What it costs and who is a founder.
How much does it cost?
A single paid service: Djinnex Desk, intraday analysis of the Asia, London and New York sessions. 14-day free trial. Then €69 a month at the founder price, taxes included. Billed monthly, with no minimum term.
Who gets the founder price?
The founder price is only for the first 1,000 subscribers, and it’s for life, as long as you stay subscribed. For those who join later, €149 a month. Anyone who confirms their sign-up counts as a subscriber, including during the trial, and the order is set by the date and time of each sign-up. Both prices are in euros, taxes included: €69 a month for those who join as founders and €149 a month for those who join later. Before you confirm your sign-up, you’ll see the amount that applies to you.
Will my price go up to €149 when the 1,000 places are filled?
No. The founder price is for life: as long as you stay subscribed, you pay €69 every month, taxes included, even once all the places have been taken. The €149 is only for those who join later and for those who come back after their trial or a cancellation: if you cancel your subscription, you lose the founder price and, if you come back, you do so without a trial and at €149 a month.
What happens to my founder price if I cancel my subscription?
You lose it: you only keep the founder price as long as you stay subscribed. You also lose it if a payment can’t be taken and you don’t pay it in time (you have 7 days). If you come back, you do so without a trial and at €149 a month, taxes included. Apart from that, cancelling works the same for everyone: from your dashboard, in one click and with no minimum term.
What if a payment can’t be taken?
We let you know straight away by email and in your dashboard. You have 7 days to pay it from your dashboard, with your card or another one, with no surcharge and without losing access; the notice tells you the date and time when that period ends. If not, your subscription ends and, if you had the founder price, you lose it.
Trial and cancellation
How you start and how you cancel.
How does the free trial work?
14-day free trial. Then €69 a month at the founder price, taxes included. You get full access from day one. The 14 days are calendar days and the day you sign up counts as day 1: weekends and public holidays count too, even though there are no sessions on those days; the trial isn’t extended because of them. If you cancel up to and including the last day of the trial, you pay nothing; if you don’t cancel, the first charge is made on day 15.
This free trial is a launch offer: it may stop being available later on. If that changes, we’ll say so on this website, and trials already under way will be honoured.
Do I have to give my card details to start?
Yes. We ask for your card when you start, to check that it’s valid, to make sure each person has only one trial and, if you don’t cancel, to charge for the subscription when the trial ends. You aren’t charged anything during the trial.
When is the first charge made?
On day 15, unless you cancel before then: the day you sign up counts as day 1. We charge the amount you authorised when you signed up, taxes included, to the card you gave when you started, and after that we charge you once a month. The payment has its own tick box, which is never pre-ticked, showing the amount that applies to you: if you don’t tick it, the trial doesn’t start.
Do I get any notice before each charge?
Yes. On days 7 and 12 of the trial we send you an email with the date and amount of the first charge, the last day you can leave at no cost and the link to cancel, and on the last day we remind you in your dashboard. After that, before each monthly charge, we notify you by email at least 15 days before the last day to cancel, with the date and amount of the payment and the link to cancel.
How do I cancel?
From your dashboard, in one click, without having to call or write to anyone. During the trial, you can cancel up to and including the last day and you pay nothing. If you miss that date, cancel up to and including day 29 and we’ll refund the first charge in full; your access to the publications ends at the end of the day you cancel. After that, cancel whenever you want, with no minimum term: from the moment you cancel, no further charges are taken. If you cancel after day 29, you keep access until the end of the month you’ve already paid for; cancelling doesn’t entitle you to a refund of that charge. If you have the founder price, you lose it when you cancel your subscription: if you come back, it will be without a trial and at €149 a month.
Do I have a right of withdrawal?
If you’re a consumer, you have 14 calendar days to withdraw, without giving any reason. They’re counted from the day after you sign up: with the day you sign up as day 1, you can withdraw up to and including day 15 (if that day is a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday, until the next working day); you’ll see the exact date before you confirm your sign-up and in your dashboard. It isn’t the same as the trial: the trial is time to use the service for free, and withdrawal is your right to leave the contract. If you withdraw during the trial, you pay nothing. If you withdraw after the first charge and within the deadline, we refund the full amount you’ve been charged. You do it with the “Withdraw from contract here” button in your dashboard; the other ways are in “How to withdraw”, in the footer of this website.
Do I have to open an account with a broker?
No, not for the trial or for the subscription: you use the broker you already have and, if you don’t have one yet, you choose one yourself. We don’t work with any futures or CFD broker. No agreements, no commissions and no affiliate links: we’ll never ask you to open an account with any broker.
Can I share the reports?
No. Your account is personal, including during the trial: the reports may not be copied, forwarded or published, in whole or in part, in groups, channels or on social media. If someone you know is interested in them, they can start their own trial.
Security and data
What we keep and what we don’t.
Do you need access to my trading account?
No. Djinnex Desk doesn’t need access to your account or your broker password, and we won’t ask you for it. It doesn’t see your balance or your trades, and it can’t trade for you: your money stays with your broker.
What data about me do you keep?
To give you access, your account needs very little: your name, your email address, your password and the status of your trial or subscription. To charge you and invoice you, it also needs your billing details. Your card details are handled by our payment provider, an entity authorised to provide payment services: we never see or store the full number. To protect your account and to prove what you accepted, we also record which boxes you ticked and the date, time and IP address of each login. The full list is in the privacy information.
I’ve been asked for my broker password on behalf of Quontis Technologies.
It isn’t us: we’ll never ask you for it. Don’t give it to them, and write to us.
Common problems
If something doesn’t go as you expected.
A publication is late, or doesn’t arrive.
It can happen: the publications depend on market data, on providers and on systems that can fail. We work to prevent it and to make sure every report comes out on time, but we can’t promise that every publication will arrive, or that they’ll always arrive on time. If it happens, we let you know in your dashboard. That doesn’t limit your rights: if a publication doesn’t arrive, you can ask us for a proportionate reduction in the price.
The key zones don’t match my broker’s prices.
That’s normal: your broker will most likely quote slightly different prices from the reference market, and sometimes the difference is quite a bit bigger. Go by the key zones and where the price is in relation to them, not by the exact figure.
I couldn’t read the publications in time.
No problem. Every session since you signed up stays in your dashboard: its publications and the changes to the thermometer. Read each one when you can, for as long as you have your subscription.
I cancelled the trial by mistake.
You can undo it while the trial is still running. And until the end of its last day, you can keep using your dashboard.
I have a problem with my account. Who do I write to?
To us. For questions about your account, the trial or your subscription, write to us at support@

The company
Who is behind the analysis.
Who is behind Djinnex Desk?
Quontis Technologies, a business that produces and publishes intraday market analysis for the Asia, London and New York sessions, with Djinnex Desk. It publishes Quontis Global Regime, the Calendar and Learn for free. Quontis Technologies is the trade name used by its owner, an individual domiciled in Spain. The owner’s details are in the legal notice.
Where does Quontis Technologies come from?
From its founder’s real-world trading. Djinnex Desk responds to what that trading needs every day. The founder still trades personally: we explain this under “Conflicts of interest”, in the risk warning.
Does Quontis Technologies manage my money or tell me what to do?
No. It’s an analysis business: your money stays in your account, with your broker, and the decisions are yours. Djinnex Desk provides the analysis.
What does Quontis Technologies stand for?
The decision is yours, and so is the choice of broker: we aren’t partners with any of them. Capital first, then process and, last of all, the idea. Clarity without losing quality. And analysis, never signals: every expectation comes with what would cancel it.
